NOT feeling the Nic Jaar album. Tried listening to it intently 3 times & fell asleep.

Got clued in on some the lineup for Bass Coast, which I will be playing. Needless to say, I am giddy like a child, this will definitely be the best festival out West this summer for anyone into forward/future dance steezo. The campground for the fest is apparently surreal, basically smack dab in the middle of some utopian-ass natural habitat.

Annnd MUTEK. WOW. Summer gon’ be fly yo.

Last week Mutek posted a podcast from Michael Red showcasing all of the artists that will be repping at Mutek this year under the New Forms banner. The Saturday night showcase of West Coast talent will be a Mutek highlight fo sho (along with Thursday’s Modeselektion night feat: FaltyDL, Siriusmo, Jacques Greene & Modeselektor!!!)

Of note here, aside from the smattering of Monolithium tunes embedded, are the 2 collab jams from Hrdvsion & I. “Windextrous” & “Too Many y Chromosomes” have been in the bag for a minute with more to come. Excited to be working with that dude - he is an inspiration.
