my pal Hrdvsion
For those who don’t know him, my homie Hrdvsion is one of my biggest immediate influences - he truly is one of my hometown’s unsung heroes when it comes to underground dance music. It’s been gratifying to see him really take control of his sound while in Berlin - he’s managed to encase all of the glitchy/idm insanity of his early output & wrap it up in a more digestible, dancefloor friendly style.
Last year’s “I Can’t Exist” is still one of my fave jams to play out… he just dropped “Right & Tight”, a manic, relentless techno thing that keeps you guessing for its duration. And later this year he’ll drop “Prettier Than That” which completely destroyed the Boiler Room when he played it alongside his brother earlier this year.
We’ve been making tunes together. “Windextrous” & “Too Many y Chromosomes” have popped up a few places. Excited to get a couple more under our belt.
